Zimbra Collaboration Suite (ZCS) Training

Zimbra offers in-person training for Network Edition customers. Our training courses are hands-on, interactive multi-day sessions designed to provide administrators the tools and techniques necessary to be proficient managing Zimbra Collaboration Suite.

All courses charge a reasonable per student fee. Class enrollment size is kept small to offer direct interaction with the instructors. Sessions are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. See below for upcoming training session dates and course description. Some Zimbra Training sessions are provided by certified Zimbra Training Partners, as noted below.

Currently we offer two training courses: Zimlet Development and ZCS Network Edition System Administrator Training. More information about both follows below.

Zimlet Development Training Course

This new course is designed to teach the development of Zimlets for ZCS. The course will be hands-on and provide concepts and implementation guidance for developing custom Zimlets.

ZCS Network Edition System Administrator Training Course

This is an in-depth 3-day hands-on session and will cover a wide array of knowledge in installing, managing, and maintaining your ZCS deployment. Days 1 and 2 provide the Basic Administration course, and Day 3 is an additional (optional) day of Advanced Administration including configuration of a multi-node ZCS architecture for scalability.

Sample topics and course work includes: ZCS architecture overview; hands-on ZCS installation and upgrade; Admin Console overview and demo; hands-on CLI tools review; system care (logs, queues, backups, etc); migration execution and planning; monitoring and troubleshooting; customization (Zimlets, skins/themes); HSM; clustering concepts; and multi-node architecture and deployment.

Please note: because the Basic section of the class is a building block for the Advanced section, we do not offer Advanced-only training at this time.
