Zimbra Collaboration Suite On-Site Pricing Overview
When deployed on your own server hardware, Zimbra Collaboration Suite (ZCS) Network Edition pricing is based on an annual software subscription and comes with updates and Zimbra support. Licensing is an annual software subscription with updates and support from Zimbra. A perpetual option is also available -- please contact Zimbra sales for more details.
ZCS Network Editions
The primary on-site product editions are ZCS Standard and Professional. Service providers also have Consumer and Email edition options. Please see our ZCS on-site product comparison for more information about the different product editions.
ZCS Standard and Professional can also be enabled with Zimbra Mobile and Zimbra Archiving and Discovery. These are separate annual licenses (see below).
ZCS on-site is also available in a software-only Starter Edition at a substantial discount (see below).
Pricing and Packaging
On-site licenses are sold in increments of 25 mailboxes and priced on a sliding scale based on the total number of end-user mailboxes purchased and your market. (Note a mailbox license is defined as a person on the system and does not include distribution lists, aliases, locations, or resources).
For example, 75 Professional Edition mailboxes for a business are priced at $28/year per user ($2,100.00 US); a non-profit for the same will be discounted 50%.

Zimbra Collaboration Suite on-site Starter Edition
If you want to run a basic on-site deployment of less than 25 users and you want to save on costs; consider ZCS Network Starter Edition. This is a software-only package and is a great value:
- 15 Professional Edition mailbox licenses (with Outlook/Apple sync, back-up/restore, and more)
- Software & updates only with NO Zimbra Support
- Additional mailbox licenses cannot be added; nor can Zimbra Mobile or Zimbra Archiving and Discovery
- $399 dollars (US); annual subscription
- Available to purchase online only
Zimbra Mobile
Zimbra Mobile is an additional license option for either ZCS Standard or Network Edition users. It has an annual license fee starting at $500 if you have 25 or 50 mailboxes and is $1000 for 75 or more mailboxes.
Please note: additional third party software / licenses may be required depending on the devices that you plan on supporting.
Zimbra Archiving and Discovery
Zimbra Archiving and Discovery (ZAD) is a compliance solution available for purchase as an add-on to your ZCS server. The licenses you purchase are in addition to the ones you purchase for ZCS.
ZAD can be tried for free as part of the Zimbra Network Edition trial.

Zimbra Support
ZCS on-site Network Edition customers have access to Zimbra's highly-regarded Technical Support Program. There are three Support Package tiers: Standard, Advantage, and Premium.
