Default Zimlets not showing up

Hello all i seem to be having issues with my zimlets. They don't appear in the left pane (i know some should appear and some shouldn't). I have yahoo maps and yahoo traffic installed and they don't appear. I emailed myself an address and nothing happened. It didn't get recognized by zimbra.

Hi and welcome to the forums!
Is this an upgrade or new install?

Try to redeploy them:
http://wiki.zimbra.com/index.php?tit...&printable=yes

If that doesn't work, look for errors in the mailbox.log located in /opt/zimbra/log/
And post the errors

Cheers!

Thanks for the quick reply jholder! I did an upgrade and I redeployed them. I do now see them. Though how come when there is an address zimbra doesn't highlight it?

2510 Fairview Avenue East Seattle WA 98102

thats the address i had.

Also when i restart tomcat i get the following error:
/opt/zimbra/bin/tomcat restart
ERROR: problem reading config from ldap. Make sure ldap is running.

That's bug http://bugzilla.zimbra.com/show_bug.cgi?id=8711
Zimlets Do Not Show Up After Upgrade. You'll need to manually redploy them.

As far as the tomcat restart, is ldap running?
su - zimbra
ldap status

Because a Zimlet does that. You need to redeploy them

i did redeploy them

/opt/zimbra/bin/zmzimletctl listZimlets
Installed Zimlet files on this host:
com_zimbra_collector
com_zimbra_date
com_zimbra_email
com_zimbra_phone
com_zimbra_photo
com_zimbra_search
com_zimbra_url
com_zimbra_ymaps
com_zimbra_ytraffic
Installed Zimlets in LDAP:
com_zimbra_collector
com_zimbra_date
com_zimbra_email
com_zimbra_phone
com_zimbra_photo
com_zimbra_search
com_zimbra_url
com_zimbra_ymaps
com_zimbra_ytraffic
Available Zimlets in COS:
default:
com_zimbra_collector
com_zimbra_date
com_zimbra_email
com_zimbra_phone
com_zimbra_photo
com_zimbra_search
com_zimbra_url
com_zimbra_ymaps
com_zimbra_ytraffic

I see the yahoo maps and yahoo traffic on the left pane also....the addresses just won't get recognized in an email.
