Default Zimlet upload failing

Hi Guys,

I just tried to upload a couple of new themes through the Admin IU for the first time.
I can't get it to work!
I browse to the zipped files through the Zimlets Manager and press on Deploy, it flashes up to say uploading Zimlet and then a red box appears saying 'Failed to Deploy the Zimlet'.

Am I uploading the themes in the wrong way?

Give me a quick clue Guys as I am probably doing something monumentally stupid here?!

Network Edition 4.53 on CentOS 4.4.

Uploading through the CLI, the old way works fine!

Which log should I be looking in?

Thanks

Russ

Was it exactly the same zimlet that you were deploying ?

Hi Klug,

I have tried the Amazon, Google Translator and Wikipedia ones, I also tried several themes including Nature and Hotrod. Can I upload themes this way anyway?

I have successfully deployed all of these by using the zmzimletctl deploy command. The Zimlets now appear in the Admin UI and allow me to tick the box to deploy them for a different COS but the Themes do not appear in the list either in Admin UI or User UI.

The Amazon Zimlet doesn't actually do very much as it never returns any results, is there any configuration neccessary with this one?
The Google Translator also just comes up saying 'An error has occurred' when trying to translate from English to German. Any ideas about these?

Thanks
Russ

My question was not clear enough, sorry.

Yesterday someone in the forum said he had issues with the zimlets downloaded from the gallery while it was OK with the one that are on the harddrive of the server (once Zimbra is setup).

Did you download the zimlets from your server before trying to deploy them with the WebUI ?

Oh I see.

Yes you are right Klug, it is the ones from the Gallery. When I copied one of the ones from the zimlets-extras folder on the Zimbra server to my Desktop it installed perfectly through the Admin UI!

So it seems our dear Zimbra boys really need to clean up the gallery.
