Will Zimlet help me in this situation?

I have a requirement where I need to attach different images to a mail as signatures for every outgoing mail through the mail server.

Will writing of a custom Zimlet help me out in this situation. The customization will include reading a database, getting a image out of it and then attaching it to the outgoing mail.

Do you guys think this is possible with the Zimbra Collabaration Suite? Please note that my company is yet not using Zimbra but we might be interested in evaluating it.

First we need to add HTML sigs. Then need to support images inline. So might just want to vote for these two bugs. Then you could add a Zimlet do automate this for your users.
