Zimbra 7.2 Error occurred while initializing zimlet xxx

I am testing Zimbra 7.2 before upgrading from 7.1.3 GA 3346. When I deploy current working Zimlets used on our 7.1.3 deployment to the new 7.2 GA 2669 server I receive the following error.:

An error has occurred while initializing the zimlet "xxx". Please notify administrator.

Under show details I see:

TypeError: Object # has no method 'init'


Does anyone know what this is and or what I need to look at to fix it?

I know this is an old post, but it is the only one that comes up on a google search so I figured I'd post my solution. I ran into this same error upgrading from 7.1.4 to 8.0.2. It means that you have some zimlet that isn't compatible. In order to fix it, you need to undeploy all of the installed zimlets, then redeploy just the core ones.

A quick way to redeploy the core ones (as zimbra user):

cd /opt/zimbra/zimlets
for a in `ls *.zip`; do zmzimletctl deploy $a; done;
cd /opt/zimbra/zimlets-network
for a in `ls *.zip`; do zmzimletctl deploy $a; done;
