can't get Google Docs zimlet to work

I'm trying the Google Docs zimlet that is included in the extras directory of 7.0, but I've not been able to get it to work.

When I click the "Link with Google" button nothing happens. I've tried both Safari 5.0.3 and Firefox 3.6.13.

Anyone having any success with this?
