Default Tab key handler in ZmDialog

I use ZmDialogs extensively and often with form fields. Zimbra sets a keypress handler inside ZmDialogs and has the Tab key highlight the buttons at the bottom of the dialog. Is there a supported way of disabling this handler so that the user can tab between fields normally? I can see where the handler is being bound, but I don't see a method on ZmDialog or DwtDialog to prevent them from being bound in the first place.

I'm working around this by binding my own keydown handler on the ZmDialog's element (__internalId) and doing the event.stopPropagation(); event.cancelBubble=true; dance, but I'd still like to know if there's a supported way. If not, I'll file it as a bug/RFE.
