Problem with Google Translate zimlet

I'm having trouble with the Google Translate zimlet. When enabled, I receive this error when attempting to use it in IE8 on Win7:

Message: 'google' is undefined
Line: 5892
Char: 1
Code: 0

Firebug gives me a similar error in FF3.6:

google is not defined
[Break on this error] if(google&&google.language){


Any ideas out there?
