Zimlet Development Sandbox

Is there an open access area where the public can test Zimlets on different versions of ZCS? Obviously we don't want to use our production environment but we don't have a suitable development environment. Thanks

VMWare Workstation and install a sandbox server ?

We want to see if anything is already out there before proceed down that road because we want to have this development area for students and other interested people but then that opens another can of worms about access and security.
