Zimlet Auto-Complete Fields

I am completely new to zimlet development. I wish to create a zimlet with displays a form that allows displayed fields to be auto-completed and auto-filled.

For example, name field would auto-complete with names from contacts, and once a contact is selected, the email and phone fields would auto-fill with values from the selected contact.

Once this form is filled out and the OK or Send button is pressed, the vaues are sent to a jsp program to process and add to database.

Looking for any examples I can study to achieve this, if it is possible.

p.s. After some more study, I think what I want to do is to be able to auto-complete and auto-fill dialog variables.
