Question Zimlets for the Calendar tab?

Hi everyone

I've migrated my mailbox over to the Zimbra NE trial while I start developing some cool integration things and testing it out before I migrate the other 12 users in our office. Working well so far.

I've started publishig a whole bunch of calendars/information from our intranet (Apache/PHP/MySQL) database as .ics files
I have these loaded up in Zimbra and they work great.
Within these .ics files, I publish a URL in the COMMENT and DESCRIPTION fields but when this .ics files get parsed by Zimbra, it doesn't convert the http:// website URLs into clickable links.
I'd love it if I could get those links to be clickable.

Would that be possible with a Zimlet?
Or are Zimlets only restricted to the Mail tab of the AJAX UI?

Cheers, B

No zimlets should work fine in other tabs aswell. What if you run with firebug and ?dev=1 on the ZCS URL. Do you see any errors ?

Just so I understand: the issue is when you open the appointment (that was imported from your .ics), in the description, you have "http:" text that isn't getting linked?

(See screen shot)

So you're looking to see if you can create a zimlet that will make those text items links?

Yes that's right.
If it's possible then that's definitely a decent "MyFirstZimlet" project to get cracking on!
Wasn't sure if it was possible though

Ok scratch that!
I just looked through the source of the com_zimra_url zimlet and it looks like linking http to a website address and making it clickable is way more complicated than I thought!
Can anyone give me some quick pointers on how to accomplish this?
