A while back I made zimlet1 to parse email text for a job # (5 digits), highlight and if clicked will search our job database and open the job writeup in a new window.
Recently I made zimlet2 which creates a tab that, when clicked, displays our job database in the tab's main content area.
What I'd like to do is allow a clicked job # in email text (zimlet1) display that job writeup in zimlet2's tab main content area. Essentially do away with zimlet1 opening a new window to display the job writeup.
Not sure how to communicate between the two zimlets or if what I'm describing is possible. Any help appreciated. I'm far from a
js expert, obviously.
