Question Zimlet for Portable DIrectory "Webdav Folder"

Hi There.
What I am noticing is that many of my users that use webmail interfaces love to portability of documents. Communigate is one of the webmail they are used to and it has (part of its web mail interface a section called files, wichallowes the users the have a "portable Directory"0

The concept of ALE is nice but it allows only to create Pages from within the notebook.

I would like to see a zimlet capable of connecting the user to its webdav folder so that it can keep track of documents whever the user travels. So basicall a zimlet for a Portable WEBDAV Directory ?

Thanks

Any enhancement requests would be best in bugzilla, Zimbra can track feature requests better there. Don't forget to vote on it as well.

Default I need something like this as well

If you are intending to let users attach files from the WebDAV repo then I totally need this. I need some means of attaching docs which do not live on the clients machine but instead live on a server.

If you put in an enhancement request for this, let me know the number so I can vote on it.

I am actually writing this right now to a WebDAV repository called Xythos, although it should work for any WebDAV repository. The idea is to drag and drop email into a repository for saving and to also use it as a mail folder. I also what to extend the attachments section so that when someone sends an email, you can connect to the WebDAV repository and browse and select the files to attach to the email.

I have several posts on this forum that I need answers too to proceed. I would not mind sharing this Zimlet once I have it fully working.
