[SOLVED] Email Reminder - Zimlet not working :(

I can't seem to get the Email Reminder Zimlet working.
I had it working fine with Zimbra Open Source 5.something.

Since we have decided to use Zimbra as our district wide e-mail server we purchased Zimbra Network Edition and we are running = Release 6.0.2_GA_1912.UBUNTU8_64 UBUNTU8_64 NETWORK edition

The zimlet shows that is enabled and running but do not see a send & remind button when composing or replying to a new message and noticed it didn't create an Email Reminders calendar either for the users.

There are some changes in 6.x core and thats causing this zimlet to not work in it.
Please find the latest zimlet which should work in 6.x

I uninstalled the old one and installed the new one.

All is working well again.

I never realized how much I used this addon until it was gone. :)

Maybe somebody has a thought or suggestion...

I had the same issue with emailreminder and followed the path..
I upgraded from zimbra 5.18 where it was working fine to zimbra 6.0.4
uninstalled 5.x version of the emailreminder zimlet
downloaded ver .7 for zimbra 6.x
installed the new emailreminder .7 version
stopped and started zimbra

and still can't get it fully working.. ie.
if I drag a mesg to the zimlet, I get the reminder message
but it does not work if I flag the message. I also don't get the reminder button on the compose new message popup window.

I run Zimbra as a PRISM application with Firefox 3.5.6 - but I have checked this out in FF 3.5.6 & IE 6.0 with the same results

I have to say that I am not very happy with the number of BUGS in Zimbra, and I thought we were doing pretty good. Now I have the following happening

1. emailreimnder zimlet does NOT work at all! I have reinstalled and redeployed it several times, even downloaded different versions of it as posted on this forum and still NOTHING..... This appears to be isolated to only my account appearantly because other people have use of this zimlet on windows

2. Tasks reminder zimlet stopped working for me using ubuntu firefox.

3. I tested this by loading everything on a windows box using 4 different browsers, no error files no log files show anything broken these zimlets just plain DO NOT WORK!

How do you fix this, where do I even begin to look?

I am not sure why you would hit as many bugs. Are you using it in Zimbra Desktop or something? We dont yet support all Zimlets in that.

Have you checked for the latest version of the Zimlets on our Gallery (Zimbra :: Gallery).

Tip: If you keep the problem causing Zimlet and uninstall all other Zimlets, you should be able to see the error.
If you have Firebug addon, and enable it, you will definitely see some error.

In any case, unless you open up bugs in our bugzilla with a reproducible case, its hard for us to do anything.

Is it possible to get a 24h clock in this otherwise great Zimlet?

Unless I'm mistaken from my testing.

Email calendar notification is not fully implemented yet, we expect it in ZCS7.

I think the wording of the zimlet, EmailReminder, is a little confusing on it's "alert" -- which is only a pop up alert at this time.
