Smile Saving Attachment externally, from email?

hi there

Can i store my email attachment externally.

I mean to say, i dont want the email attachment to open from 'Client' PC. As email can contain dangerous or harm full virus type of stuff, so if i they are save on other sources like webserver, so that they can be scanned there, and from there 'Client' can easily view his email attachment using 'HTTP' or 'HTTPS' URL.

Regards and Thanks.

You can access the attachment via a REST interface. So they way to do this - if you wanted additional security is have a zimlet service that calls a outside service with the session cookie for Zimbra, download the attachment, do whatever you want to do with it, and then pop it up. That will take a fair bit of coding.

Why isn't the normal clamav process sufficient?
