Hi...Need help to Count Messages in All Folders

I am developing a zimlet that performs mailbox analysis.
When you click on the zimletPanelItem, it should display a window showing you a graphical representation of your mailbox activity(bar graph of number of mails in inbox, sent mail, spam, etc)

We are having trouble counting the number of mails in the folders using ZmMailMsg. All we have seen in other zimlets is that ZMMailMsg is generally used in Dragsource to get zmobject.

But we dont need that. we have to find a way to count the number of mails in the folders onclick and not using Drag.

Its very urgent.
