Default Persistance Data / Persistant User Data

The RSS Example talks about saving user preferences on the Zimbra server:
Develop an example RSS Zimlet - Zimbra :: Wiki

What is the size limit for this kind of persistance data?

Is this best practise for saving Zimlet service logon username/password?

Regards,

Ronan

Certainly you don't want to store large data in the persistance information. It is the best way to save Zimlet username/passwords.
