Zimlet Preprocess email before sent (in a new button)

Hello!

I'm working in a Zimlet that is near to be ready, but I'm having problems (headaches) trying to get this work.

I want to add another button in Compose View to "Send and Save to PM" (not to change the behaivor of Send button, I don't want to force the user to always be asked to Save to PM), this means that when the user hits on that button the message will be sent and then will be captured and sent as parameter to the same function that I have when a message is dropped in my Zimlet.
The button is ready, the problem is how I can capture the message in a object (same as when is dropped in) and send it?

Please help! - I've searched and searched but didn't find what I'm looking for
