Switch to calendar view

How does one change from whatever view they happen to be on to the "Calendar" view?

Clicking the 'Calendar' button will take you there from anywhere that the button is visible; I suspect I'm not understanding your question correctly though.

via zimlet, you can do something like..

var calController = AjxDispatcher.run("GetCalController");
calController.show(ZmId.VIEW_CAL_DAY);

ps: you can use the following ids to go open it in whatever view you want
ZmId.VIEW_CAL_DAY
ZmId.VIEW_CAL_MONTH
ZmId.VIEW_CAL_WEEK
ZmId.VIEW_CAL_WORK_WEEK
ZmId.VIEW_CAL_SCHEDULE
