Connecting mysql database throw Zimlet

Hi everyone

I have this situation:

I need to connect the internal database of zimbra (mysql) in one zimlet to get user's account data in the administrator user to make some statics


Can anybody help me to connect to the database:

how?
is there any object that have the connection and can possibily accesed in the zimlet?

or i have to make my own connection?
