Default zimbra_posixaccounts and zimbra_samba - "cannot figure out hostname on localhost"

Hi,

First of all I want to say great work with Zimbra. Really easy to work with.

This however is something I cannot figure out. Our Zimbra deployment works like a charm, no wierd stuff and the LDAP trees look ok.

I followed the standard guide to setup the LDAP authentication stuff and it works to some extent. For example, my home made LDAP entry for a user can logon to the system authenticated by the LDAP entry.

Samba doesn't work, but it seems it's a small problem.

The reason I'm posting is because I'm getting an error when trying to deploy the zimlets:

I tried adding the <host name="ourserverhostname"></host> in the config_template.xml file without luck.

Anyone have an idea on why this is happening?

I am also experiencing this problem and cannot seem to locate any answers. Did you solve this?

adding my fully qualified hostname to /etc/hosts seems to do the trick. odd. dns should have resolved this.
