Default Zimlets

I keep seeing comments about a zimlet for Google Maps but only Yahoo maps appears to be here. Is there a repository for available zimlets not included with the release?

Currently we only ship the Yahoo maps Zimlet. The google maps zimlet require a Google API key which must be per host so it's not something that's as easy to setup. Eventually we'll provide it in the zimlet-extras dir on an install so you can add it if you choose. Not the next release but at some point.

In the mean time, how do I change the Yahoo!Map zimlet from using the US as the default country to the UK?

Shame about that, but understandable.

You'd need to edit the Zimlet yourself. Unzip ~/zimlets/com_zimbra_ymaps.zip

Change the com_zimbra_ymaps.xml and ymaps.js to refer to the UK yahoo vs the .com one we default too.

Default Possibly a dumb question..

I've done a few searches (and found this thread), but ... in what format does the address zimlet recognize addresses?

It recognizes phone numbers, FedEx tracking numbers, Skype numbers... but not addresses. I've tried single line, with and without commas, plain text and html...

Is this just not turned on by default? Or am I being extremely obtuse about something?

Update:
I see the RegEx pattern in com_zimbra_ymaps.xml, which is

[\w]{3,}([A-Za-z]\.)?([ \w]*\#\d+)?(\r\n| )[ \w]{3,}\x20[A-Za-z]{2}\x20\d{5}(-\d{4})?\b

(which is just checking until a line-break...), but I'll need to break out a regular expression reference guide to see why it's not matching addresses for me...)

the regex is pretty basic. this is on file as Bug 6324 but it's a private bug so you won't be able to check on it

I was editing my post while you two were replying (you are so fast, sometimes, I'm really amazed).

I did find the Regex pattern (see my post above), I'll try that test address now.

Default Got it - no commas, or periods...

Okay, got it.

I was trying the equivalent of:

2510 Fairview Avenue, East Seattle WA 98102

I guess the comma throws it off. Maybe I'll play with the regex expression? thanks guys!

(side note: Yahoo puts the address of my house a on the wrong side of the street...hmm...)
