I solved my zimlet issue. The problem was the local zimlet. After reading on many issues with this zimlet I undeployed it. As soon as I did that my zimlets started working once again.

Default zimlets not working after update

I updated now from 4.5.4 to 5.0.3 and most of the zimlets do not work.
The ones that I am sure that they do work are wikipedia, google translation.
The url one does not... for instance...

I undeployed the yahoo local following the advice and I looked at the web.xml file (bugzilla) and it is fine in this version... but zimlets do not work...

Particularities: running on 8080

My zimlets stopped working a long time ago, and it is about time I address this issue. I found the comments about changing ports interesting. Any connection to port 80 gets changed to 443

I followed this wiki: Redirect http to https - Zimbra :: Wiki

Does anyone have their zimlets working using this same http to https redirection? I'm trying to determine if that is the cause.

Thanks

Is there anybody else running zimbra 5.0.2 on a different port who has noticed that most of the zimlets are not working?

We are not even running on different ports but still most of the zimlets are not working (wikipedia f.e.). Seems like they have to be manually redeployed as i did this with the drag-n-drop and contactcleaner-zimlets which do work afterwards. The issue is that settings in admin-console, cos'ses and user-accounts look correct.
I'll see if i can reproduce the 'repair by manually redeploying' this weekend and will report on it.

Running NE5.0.2 on Ubuntu 6.06LTS

Zimlets are not working for me either. I am running zcs-NETWORK-5.0.2_GA_1976.RHEL4.20080130204528. I have manually redeployed the zimbra-extra zimlets I was using. I have been able to get the asterisk zimlet and the search zimlet to appear in the menu but they do not work. Right click opens a context menu with Asterisk but does nothing.

I upgraded from zcs-NETWORK-4.5.9_GA_1455.RHEL4 to 5.0.2 GA yesterday.

I'm using ports 80 and 443 for HTTP/S.
