Default Modifying detail View of an email message

Try to digg inside the folder
/opt/zimbra/tomcat/webapps/zimbra/js/

There you find the big Javascript Files that make up the User Interface
Application of the advanced webclient.

Also look into the subfolders.

And with a modification like described here:
12921-mini-crm-solution-show-notes-field-email-tooltip-popup
you COULD find a way to do it.

Or you write a Zimlet that reacts on all email messages, independent
from the emailaddress and the Logo could be displayed if the User
does a mouse over the email address. Would be less anoying
to the User, but less effective for the marketing effect.

You could also put some logic into the Zimlet, and display
HTML contenct depenging on the email address domain,
or depending on the logged in Zimbra Users email address
or domain name.

Default Zimlet which adds info for certain users

Hi guys,

Just playin around with Zimbra

I want to make a zimlet which:

1. is only available to certain logins/users (employees)

2. Will show a clear warning if a customer is on the CC list for a particular email when it is selected or opened. This could be a popup, or a change in the layout of the email, a graphic, etc.

How do-able is this?

Look at the admin console, you can configure your COS or directly our users account to limit the zimlet available for them.

Oh cool...

I want to make a graphic/popup (whichever is easiest) appear if there is an email address on the to: or bcc: list which does not exist on the list of users which can view the zimlet.

In other words:
Customers can't see the graphic or the zimlet
Employees ONLY SEE the graphic if there is an non 'Employee' email address mentioned in the email (bcc, cc, to).
