Phone Number Translation Error

Anytime Zimbra recognizes a phone number like this:

(909) 457-2345

It formats the link as

callto:+1(909)%20457-2345

In other words the space gets encoded as %20. When using Zimbra mobile, the phone sees the "20" part of the "%20" and of course incorrectly dials the number.

Any ideas on how to correct this?
