Register the callto: links on your system/browser for this other application.

If you want you can change the com_zimbra_phone.xml <menuItem label="Skype Call" to read "Call using present callto: link" or something.

well mmorse, actually i want that the zimlet opens my installed soft phone instead of use skype, i don't know yet witch soft phone i'm going to use yet thats why i'm not specific, but is defenetly not skype, because we're going to use a VoIP central wich has her own soft phone as they told me, so as i understand, the zimlet opens the default soft phone used in the client rigth? not necesarelly skype? i mean as you know the menu item in the zimlet says: Skype call so i though that it just worked with Skype, if this is right it would be awesome, i just need to change the zimlet menu item as you told me before, and obviously install the alternative soft phone in the client, thanks a lor mmorse, you save my life again

In firefox you get like:

Same idea goes for your mailto: links - you can use the zimbra toaster to register those on your system.

Hi

I'm having problems with this zimlet too. I've registered the callto: in my browser (FF3). When I click a phone number and say call, it brings my Cisco IP Communicator to the foreground but doesn't dial.

Thanks
