Default Customise local phone numbers

With com_zimbra_phone, I need to be able to customise a) the recognition strings that trigger the zimlet, and b) the handling of local numbers.

Currently, if i have a local phone number that doesn't include a country or area code then it assumes that I am in the states. I'm not. Also, in the string "+64 3 123 4567" only the last 7 digits are recognised, the +64 3 is ignored, and it assumes again that I am in the states.

How do I go about this?

there's more than one way to do this so that you can quickly test (/opt/zimbra/tomcat/webapps/serrvice/zimlets/com_zimbra_phone) but I'm gonna give you a method so that you can save it for later use:
cd /opt/zimbra/zimlets
make a copy of the original phone zip and put it in a safe place
extract the original
inside the zip there will be a .xml
edit the regex line to your needs
rezip
zmzimletctl deploy com_zimbra_phone
zmcontrol stop/start
you will need to apply it to other COS's - as that will be enabled in the default COS only after doing that
