Default Bad DNS Name - Curve 8310

We have a user here with a BB Curve 8310 and he just installed the latest J2ME client for the BB 8300. When he attempts to use the client it errors out with: "Bad DNS Address". He's pointing it to our external DNS record which is valid from the outside.

Any tips here would be great.

Thanks,
Clay

If, by that comment, he's trying to access it via your LAN then do you use an internal DNS to resolve the server IP? If that's then case point it to your internal DNS.

His BB devices uses the provider's network (AT&T) which would only see our external DNS records and hosts. Not even sure how one would configure it to use our LAN outside of Wi-Fi which the user does not have.

Any other ideas on this? We'd like to use the J2ME client if it works well.
