Default Centro failure, question on Samsung Instinct

Installed the Generic ZimbraME (J2ME Client) on the Palm Centro. Can see the setup screen, but cannot seem to be able to select any of the text fields to type anything in. Only button that works is the exit button on the setup screen.

Have several other users looking to buy a Samsung Instinct soon. Anyone know if the generic version works with that phone? I understand that the J2ME Client is (at least currently) no cost, but I also know they would be happy to purchase the java app for their phone if they would then have access to email. Calendar and other areas would be nice also, but I don't think that is as critical to them.

(I think our office at least would be happier purchasing aps for the phone rather than some type of extra client lic for the server, but maybe we are odd too?)

FWIW,
-Keith
