BlackBerry Bold

Has anyone tried J2ME build on a BlackBerry Bold device?

I am thinking of try either the 8800 or Generic.

Any experiences?

I can't get it to work on the BlackBerry Bold.
Installation of the generic version gives a 907 Invalid JAR HTTP error 404: Not found.
The 8800 and Pearl specific versions crash my BB.

btw, I tried out the gmail java client, which works without a glitch and is very good at what it does I think.

any help is appreciated.

I'm just thinkning of getting it already unocked from I'm just thinkning of getting it already from www.puremobile.comBlackBerry/BlackBerry-Bold-9000-Black-O2/ its much less of a hassle than having to renew a contract. I've had the oportunity to use this phone and it was amazing.
