6.0.2_GA to 7.x?
As you can tell by me current version of Zimbra (network) it's been awhile since I've upgraded. I am seriously wanting to in the near future though.
Is there anything I should be watching out for such as upgrading to a higher version of 6 before I make the leap to 7?
Also, any special needs for my RHEL os version to run Zimbra 7?
Client Version: 6.0.2_GA_1912.RHEL5
Client Release: 20091020173119
Build Date: 20091020-1743
[root@mail ~]# uname -a
Linux mail.mydomain.com 2.6.18-8.el5 #1 SMP Fri Jan 26 14:15:21 EST 2007 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
OK, I found this for the os:
For Red Hat Enterprise, Fedora Core and SUSE
operating systems, the server must also have the
• NPTL. Native POSIX Thread Library
• Sudo. Superuser, required to delegate admins.
• libidn. For internationalizing domain names in
• GMP. GNU Multiple-Precision Library.
• compat-libstdc ++-33. Compatibility Standard C++
For RHEL servers only
But, I don't see a minimum ZCS edition listed.
darn! looks like i'll have to reup my RHEL support:
[root@mail ~]# rpm -qa | grep compat-libstdc
[root@mail ~]# rpm -qa | grep GMP
[root@mail ~]# rpm -qa | grep NPTL
[root@mail ~]# rpm -qa | grep libidn
I'm guessing that means I don't have GMP, NPTL or libidn
