Default 6.0.8 P3 -> 6.0.9 RHEL Linux 64 bit

Success, with one minor glitch: [SOLVED] logrotate issue

As in previous installs, it was necessary to restore some manual configurations, viz:

Hi Elliot,

If you are using HSM, you may want to add the option below in Zimbra crontab:

Code:
zimbra@malbec:~> crontab -l | grep backup
0 1 * * 6 /opt/zimbra/bin/zmbackup -f --noZip --includeHsmBlobs -a all
0 1 * * 0-5 /opt/zimbra/bin/zmbackup -i --noZip --includeHsmBlobs
0 0 * * * /opt/zimbra/bin/zmbackup -del 30d
zimbra@malbec:~>
FWIW, bug 48824 is now marked as FIXED/RESOLVED, so unless you ask to have it reopened I don't think any more work will be done there.

We will be upgrading to 6.0.9 shortly as well; if we have any issues we'll post but a the moment are just expecting to have to fix the log rotation issue.

With best regards,
Mark

Hi, Mark. Not using HSM yet, but that is good to know because I think it is in our future.

True, bug 48824 is fixed, but it's scheduled for 6.0.10, so I went ahead and applied the (rather crude) manual patch of turning off PhishingScanURLs. There are a couple other approaches outlined in the bug, but I chose that one as it's likely to cause the least harm IMO.

Ah, I see from Bug 35278 - Allow backup of only primary message volume that --includeHsmBlobs is only needed if certain global server configuration keys are set to non-default values. Still, good to know, and the general issue of customizing HSM backup could be useful.
