Talking 5.0.13 to 6.0.6.1 NE RHEL5x64 success

I ran the full 6.0.6.1 upgrade today (6.0.6_GA_2330.RHEL5_64_20100505193959) and the upgrade from 5.0.13 seems to have completed without issue. I made multiple backups and thoroughly tested the upgrade on my disaster recovery platform first which ran fine. As a result, I was pretty confident it would go off without a hitch but a major upgrade on a production machine is always a bit unnerving. Hopefully, end-user adoption will be quick. Kudos to the Zimbra team for the smooth upgrade process.

...spoke too soon. We've since come across some issues with 6.0.6.1 RHEL5x64 build 2330

  1. Address auto-complete doesn't work with local address book for some users
  2. Alias auto-complete from GAL is inconsistent
  3. Zimbra toaster support for Mac seems to be gone???
  4. Drag and drop with Firefox 3.6 doesn't work

We'll focus on the first 2 (in the autocomplete thread).
Toaster is now a community maintained project (there are several other notifier products available as well).
DnD (I assume you mean the uploader not every mouse action) was just fixed last night for ZCS 6.0.7 and will be using HTML5 in FF3.6 instead of a browser add-on.

Thanks Mike.

Can you point me to the location where the Toaster is maintained now? Also, any suggestions for an alternative notifier that runs on Mac?

Yes, I was talking about the Firefox DnD attachment support. Sorry for the ambiguity.

Rob
