Default Get Pidgin working with Zimbra

I set up a how-to for getting Zimbra Jabber Instant Messaging on Pidgin for my other IT staff here as we just recently got it going under 5.0.4, hopefully it can help others.

See the article here.

I didn't have to do any additional configuration on my end - it would appear that SSL support comes preconfigured.

Default One minor correction - Pidgin "Resource" to zcs

You need to change (in Pidgin, the account setup) the Resource to "zcs".

If you do not, then from the webclient IM window, you will not correctly see the status of anyone signed in via Pidgin (using the Resource of "Home") - it will always appear "off-line".

Once you change the resource within Pidgin to "zcs" and sign in, the status will correctly display (of that person) from the webclient.
