Default Sony Ericsson P990i

Hi,

having problems configuring my Sony Ericsson P990i. Have set up POP3 EMAIL, set up my e-mail account using my mobile network provider's settings for the outgoing and our mail.ourcompanyname.com and user id & pswd for incoming (we use the Zimbra collaboration platform of course). The send works fine, but the receive gives me a 'failure to connect'. I'm using incoming port 110.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
VPG

Welcome to the forums.

Does your company provide you with a pop service or is it IMAP? Shouldn't you be using your company mail server to send outgoing email? Those are really questions you should address to your company mail administrator. Both pop & IMAP work fine if the server is set-up with those services.
