Is windows mobile 6 supported?

I searched a bit but I am unsure.. Are windows mobile 6 devices supported with Zimbra at this time?

I second this request for information. Can someone please answer this? Does Zimbra mobile currently support Windows Mobile 6 devices. Several of the new devices out are shipping version 6, so this is very relevant.

Not that you can't give it a shot:

We just received a T-Mobile Wing device. The goal is to test against with Zimbra over over secured 802.11 network. It is pretty easy to import a certificate in WM6 (much better than WM5). After that getting it on the secured 802.11 was pretty easy. I will post an update after I get it configured to talk to Zimbra. --Skelley 17:15, 29 June 2007 (CDT)


I was able to follow the WM5 configuration and it worked just fine. I did not use SSL to Zimbra. I do note only "Contacts" and not "Emailed Contacts" sync to the WM6 device. WM6 is annoying though and forces you to enter the certificate name as the user name when connecting to a cert secured 802.11 network. --Skelley 17:22, 17 July 2007 (CDT)

I have 2 different WM6 phones, a PPC and a smartphone. Both work fine using both an Activesync "Exchange Server" connected to Zimbra, and IMAP also connecting to Zimbra. One problem however. HTML email will only show up via an IMAP connection. Activesync downloads emails as plain text and there is currently no way with zimbra to change this. Apparently HTML over activesync is only supported by Exchange 2007. This is a bit of an issue for me since MS Push (ie activesync) is the reason for me having an exchange type server, and html email is the reason for me choosing WM6.
Are there any plans for Zimbra to support HTML over Activesync in the future?

There's no set schedule yet for WM6 specific features such as html email.
