Default Trying to Connect a Smartphone

Hi,

I am trying to connect a Blackjack and have read the documentation but still no luck. In the COS Features I have it enabled. On the phone I have done the FQDN.

Is there something else in the GUI that needs to be enabled? Also I am running the website on port 8080...is this what I need to reference with my WM5 device? Lastly in Exchange I need to define a mobile number to send OTA synch info to...do I need to do the same in Zimbra?

Are you running the Network edition? You need to use the same port that you use for the web UI so 8080 if that's what you moved it to.

Hi,

I have tried with the :8080 as well and no luck. I am using the Network Edition with the mobile license.

There is no SSL certificate as yet either. Just strange.

Can you post your /opt/zimbra/log/sync.log

You may wish to edit to log to take out any super secret info.
Try to grab a section of the log where you're trying to sync.

Log shows like there is nothing to connect to.

Yea, doesn't look like there's much in there.

So if there isn't, then that means you signal is never even getting to the zcs server which would indicate a problem with the phone or connection.

Also take a look at /opt/zimbra/log/audit.log and see if you see any sync errors in there.

Strange indeed. Audit log shows nothing as well. The mobile device can surf to the page with IE for the Zimbra login. I wonder if it has a problem with :8080?

Well, everything kinda works through the soap interface, which in this case is 8080.

You should contact support and see if they can help

Good luck
