Default Weird...

IDLE is turned off for that host, then. So if you're getting IDLE-like instantaneous notification for Thunderbird, something's very odd. This is a single-node setup?

Default so there is no fix ?

the problem still exists and no solution on the horizon?
BTW Mail for Exchange using E60 works, but aint reliable.
In sync modus allways online the connection is not allways on, as it is in combination with an MS Exchange Server.
Also it seems there is no way to choose which calendar to sync. it allways syncs the default calendar.

Regards

I connect every 30 minutes which is rock solid in MFE. I read somewhere that 'always online' doesn't work. I don't recall what the issue was.

I also still have the problem on my E62 with regular IMAP.

Default e61i same problem

Was this issue every resolved? Our E61is are having the same problems again Zimbra 4.5.4; disabling IDLE does not work.

Charles

Unhappy no, no changes

I have not seen any changes and no big interest from the Zimbra team to resolve or even clarify this issue.
For my part I changed to MS Exchange and that works perfectly.

sorry, but this is the way it is for now.

I have recently acquired a Nokia E61i, and I can say that the problem in this thread applies.

On a server that isn't running Zimbra (postfix, imap), the Nokia phone retrieves messages, with no problem. Its only with my Zimbra based mailbox that there is a problem.

Server is running Centos 4, and latest ZCS that's available. Single node setup. Not using mail for exchange or anything of that sort, because I'm using the open source edition of Zimbra, as opposed to the network edition

Surely there must be a solution? Trying to read my mail via the web page is also a no go, because the page is too huge.

Default There's a bug to track this

I should probably mention in case folk come here via a search, that there's an open bug for this sitting in Bugzilla. Bug 14850 - Nokia E61 sync with imaps

Looks like the bug is still around in the 5.0.0 BETA as well
