4.5 IMAP changes? Nokia E61/E62 can't get mail body

That's enough on the server. Can you recreate your profile on the device? It may have cached the IMAP CAPABILITY string.

Also I got the impression IDLE is not switched off, because when I delete a message in the browser connected to zimbra mailbox via https, thunderbird immediatly deletes that message too.

What command did you use to disable IDLE? Are you on 4.5.4?

and yes it is 4.5.4, upgraded yesterday
on 4.5.3 I observed the same behavior

Can you check that it really is disabled with

zmlocalconfig | grep nio_imap_enable

Whoops! That should be something like

zmprov gs <imap-server-name> zimbraImapDisabledCapability
