Default I gave up on this problem

I have an E62 and I had it temporarily fixed by deleting/re-creating the account, but the same problem came back shortly thereafter. I don't have the time or expertise to troubleshoot this one.

Default me too.

I have an E60 and I am not able to download the body, can read the headline but nothing more.
Latest zimbra 4.5.4 did not resolve the problem.
When I use annother cyrus based imap server (no zimbra) the phone stays connected. It even warns me if I try to leave the mailbox.
Not so with zimbra.
Mail for exchange aint stable either. It looses connectiond as well.

Is this Network Edition you're using? Are you just using the e60 as an IMAP client? BTW, Zimbra doesn't use Cyrus for IMAP.

yes, I am using a 30 day network test version (4.5.4)
I tried both, the imap client and the Mail for Exchange client.

For the IMAP connection, have you tried deleting the account then recreate it and see if that helps. You could also turn up the logging on the Zimbra server (have a look at the early part of this thread for details). If you can consistently reproduce this then please file a support case with details and the logs.

I deleted the settings several times. Last time when I updated the Nokia firmaware.
I will try to get a copy of the logs later as I am not at the machine right now.

Default cannot login to support

I enabled imap logging, but I cannot open a case because I cannot login.
But the logfile looks similar to the one posted in this thread already.

[zimbra@centos log]$ 2007-03-29 19:26:20,942 DEBUG [ImapSSLServer-5] [] imap - S: * BYE Zimbra IMAP4rev1 server terminating connection
zimbra@centos log]$ 2007-03-29 19:26:20,942 INFO [ImapSSLServer-5] [] imap - [192.168.10.19] exception while closing connection
[zimbra@centos log]$ java.net.SocketException: Connection closed by remote host

must somewhere here, Zimbra terminating and the E60 the closing or so.

Default Disabling IDLE may help

If you're on 4.5.4, try this:
Code:
zmprov ms <servername> zimbraImapDisabledCapability IDLE
and then restart the server.

That turns off IMAP IDLE on the entire server, but will probably fix your problem. In the 5.0 release there will be a way to do this on a session-by-session basis rather than on the whole server -- see bug 15331 for details.

Default the trick did not help

I am still nor able to retrieve a message form the server.
The phone connects, but finnishes without any mail nor error message.

If I understand this thread right, it worked with versions pre 4.5.X ?

Best Regards

Default Did you restart the server?

A server restart is necessary for that change to take effect.
