I have a Treo 750wx with wm5. I have a little over 3000 contacts, and it seems to sync okay on my own private server.

That isn't to say that there isn't a problem.

Try to look in /opt/zimbra/log/mailbox.log and see if your sync is throwing any errors on your server.

Problems are showing up with ~400 contacts, so I'm interested to hear that jjzhuang isn't seeing the same trouble.

jholder is using the Treo Windows, which might be different -- we've got a few Windows users, so I'll check with them as well.

Is anyone else having AirSamStatemachine.c problems?

gmsmith, did you ever use the hotsync, or did you always use over-the-air ActiveSync (at least since your last hard reset)?

I'm wondering if it could be tied to transitioning from one syncing method to another.

No, I haven't even unbundled the cable from the 700p. We (Perceiva) always recommend a hard reset to users prior to try syncing with Zimbra Mobile.

I have only a hundred contacts, and I am also experiencing the many airsamstatemachine errors when sync'ing. I am using a Treo 700p with ZCS 4.5.6. Versamail 3.5.1

Airsamstatemachine errors are just as generic as saying "something didn't work when trying to sync". VersaMail reports almost all issues as airsamstatemachine error, and there's no standard error codes to look up. The only way to debug this is by looking at what's received and sent by the server.

Also, just an FYI for users who have the latest firmware for the 700p, be sure to apply the latest VersaMail update (brings you to version 3.5.4), otherwise your calendar will not sync.

I'm having the problem as well, even with a completely clean (hard rest) treo. I think it started happening when I went from port port 80 to port 443/SSL. We are using a godaddy wildcard SSL certificate if that sheds any insight. I'll see if I can find what logs I need to look at to give more info.

Default just got mine going

We are using ZCS 4.5.6 patch 1044. I only have 20 or so contacts. My initial sync worked fine. My only issue is it looks like the calendar sync is only from Server to device. If I add an event to my Palm, it does not get synced to my Zimbra.
