Default Zimbra 7 and the LG Ally (Android)

Just a heads up in case anyone else runs into this. We recently upgraded to Zimbra 7 NE. One of my users has an LG Ally, which suddenly stopped syncing (contacts, calendar, and e-mail). It also asked you to accept giving the mail provider access to remotely wipe the phone. Accepting makes no difference.

Easy fix is to disable mobile policy under the users account under admin.

Just figured I'd share the solution in case anyone else runs into this.

Hi fang0654

We have a user at our University experiencing the same issue. Any way you give a quick detail of how you disabled mobile policy for your user?

Many thanks in advance!

He's already given the answer in his post above:

Yep, log on to the Admin interface, open up the account. Click on the "Zimbra Mobile" tab, then uncheck "Enable Mobile Policy". Click save, then resynch the phone.
