Android Calendar Reminder

If I change the reminder settings on the Android device the reminder becomes removed from my web client and Outlook reminder settings for what ever Calendar item I am modifying. However, if I set the reminder settings in Outlook or the Web Client the change is synced over perfectly to the Android device. This does not happen with my BlackBerry.

Phone: Android 2.2.1 (HTC ThunderBolt) connected via ActiveSync
