Default sync zimbra with bis (email, calendar, etc)

Hi all,

I am very new to zimbra and this forum. I am very appreciated with all comments I can get later.

Now, I had a customer that wish to used zimbra. ( I know that zimbra had various level model and license). Now, he asked me if zimbra can sync email, calendar, task and contacts (and else) through bis connection to theirs blackberry.

That way I am asking this nice question to this forum

So,

1. Can I get the information about what Zimbra edition should I use?
2. Can the sync be done ?
3. Any requirement should their BB should have? like version of RIM OS'es/model/etc?

I'll running the ZImbra in the VMware (virtualization).
The user will be using the sync estimated around 20 users

Thank youuu

The only way you can sync over BIS with Zimbra would be to use a ActiveSync client on the BlackBerry. In order to connect to a BES server the phones will need a data plan that supports BES (normally the more expensive data plan).

Check out NotifySync as a solution to sync over ActiveSync using a BIS data plan. You require Zimbra Network Edition and enable Mobile sync on the users that need ActiveSync. The latest version of ZCS is always recommended.
