If Zimbra would provide a syncML gateway, they would really become a serious player in the collaboration market.

Free programs to connect to SyncML gateways from windows mobile devices are already out there. And Nokia and Sony Erricsson uses SyncML as the native communication form.

In other words Zimbra would reach almost any Smartphone/PDA user by providing such gateway.

Just my 2 Cents.

Any chance to get SyncML working with OpenSource version?
I just installed 6.0beta2 and I'm thinking changing from Horde to Zimbra. SyncML is still needed.

I visited there earlier. Now that I know that's the right direction, I try to stay on that path
