Nokia E5 mail for exchange issue

Has anyone been able to use nokia mail for exchange on a Nokia E5?

I set up the account as normal and it will do the first sync, then receive each new email but cannot reply or send a new email.

No errors on the server, and the phone just pops ups "email not sent"

Nokia support are investigating the problem but have no
solutions

we sync many other phone models to zimbra but this E5 fails

tried another E5 and that has same problem

Any ideas?

I have the same problem.

I can't send a email and I must always synchronise manually to have the new emails or the new events.

With other Nokia (E51, E66, X6 or E71), I can do it without problem...

Any ideas ?

I remember there was an issue with some nokia phones not sending because of a change ni the mail for exchange. Here is one of the bugs

Bug 42947 – outbox doesn't sync with mail for exchange 2.9

I don't think it was fixed until like 6.0.6 or something

I set up a test server with zcs-NETWORK-6.0.9_GA_2687.RHEL4.20101115212825 and it works now!

have to untick secure connection but that is just because I don't have certs installed (i think)

So it looks like I will have to upgrade from 5.0.21 to 6.0.9

will wait a few days to kick that off!

I use 6.0.9 under 8.0.4 LTS and it does not work.
After few minutes :

I don't receive new email,
I don't receive new event,
When I delete a email on my phone, it does not be deleted on my zimbra
I can't send a news email

A lot of problems...

Any idea ?

I installed the correct cert and the phone will now send and receive securely.

Can send email
can receive email
delete mail updates on webclient

seems ok
