Note quite sure where you got this from - I have confirmed with Zimbra PreSales, Zimbra Mobile IS included with Zimbra Appliance Basic Edition. There is a fault with the website, which they're aware of, and are going to resolve.

Certainly the license file I've been provided with matches fruitloaf's, in as much that it states name="MobileSyncEnabled" value="true"

Let me just confirm this again for anyone else viewing this thread - the Zimbra Appliance has a free 10-user licence that does contain the mobile features and it does not stop working when the initial trial expires.
