Default ZIMBRA + HTC EVO 4G = FAIL = customers lost.

HTC EVO 4G Can't send messages..

Same issue which has already been resolved in the next update of Zimbra but yet we do not have access to these updates until Zimbra releases a complete update? This is stupid and needs to change, we should have access to minor updates that fix critical issues immediately.

Nothing worse than getting a shiney brand new phone and having it not work, and then finding out there is a fix but you can't get it because zimbra chooses to release updates as large packages instead of individually.

I doubt we will be renewing zimbra, google apps looks better all the time.. Who knows when we will see the update now, everytime an update gets close to the release shown at pm.zimbra.com - it gets pushed back..

Default Sprint/HTC pushed an OTA update that seems to have fixed this.

This morning there was an over the air update that seems to have fixed the EVO's ActiveSync problem with sending email via Zimbra. We're using 6.0.3_GA_1915 and an HTC EVOs.

As mentioned many times, this is an issue with HTC and MS. Zimbra follows the ActiveSync specs. Turns out, HTC and MS don't. And yet, everyone complains to Zimbra that it's their issue and they need to fix it.

Even though it's not a Zimbra issue, Zimbra devs have come up with a solution. Instead of being angry at them, how about praising them for bending over backward to support yet-another broken MS spec?

Especially considering HTC has also released a fix for their mail client, which is where the real, true source of the issue lies.
