Default WM 6.1 task syncing

I have a customer who is using WM6.1 and now that The new release of Zimbra is out he wants to sync his tasks as promised.

Unfortunately this seems to take an absolute age to do this. He left it syncing overnight and it hadn't synced many of his tasks.

Has anyone else come across this at all. Or is using WM6.1 and able to sync the tasks with the new release?

Thanks.

Has anyone got Tasks to sync with Windows Mobile since the new release of Zimbra?

This seemed to be a priority for so many people on the Bugzilla. Someone must have it working..

I have managed to solve this problem with our customer.

Outlook creates tasks that do not have a start and end date. This is fine on the web client, but as soon as it tries to sync to a WM device, it practically crashes itself and puts in its own random dates on syncing. Causing it to run ridiculously slowly. Meaning that to sync 50 or more tasks would take days to perform.

The customer now has had to update all of his tasks to have a start and end date in them for it to sync properly.

Does anyone think this is a sensible problem to report to bugzilla?
